TemeculaTemecula is part of South West Riverside County located just under Murrieta. It has three exits on the 15 Freeway. As you drive north these exits are Temecula Parkway, Rancho California, and Winchester.
Temecula is about 30 square miles, and has a population slightly over 100,000 people. In the center of Temecula is the Promenade Mall. It features name brand stores such as Macy's, Sephora, Apple, Coach, H&M, and Forever 21. It also offers a lot of dining options like PF Changs, the Yard House, and Lazy Dog Cafe where you can eat with your dogs on the patio.
On the south side of Temecula is historic Old Town. There are exquisite wine tasting bars, expensive dining, and boutiques. During the summer Old Town offers free music outdoors on the weekends. Old Town is also the home of the famous annual Hot Rod Run, and Fourth of July Parade.
On the east side of Temecula are miles and miles of award winning vineyards. Take an early morning scenic drive and view hot air balloons along the horizon, or drop in for lunch and wine at any of the many vineyards open to the public. Or go horseback riding through the countryside.
Next to Temecula is the Pechanga reservation. It is the home to the Pechanga Casino and Resort. Pechanga Casino and Resort offers live shows, stand up comedy, concerts, and performances, as well as gambling, dinning, and spas.
